Twohey’s Restaurant, pronounced 2EE’s, wishes to thank our valued patrons for helping us serve great food and fond memories for 70 years! Our history began in 1943 when Jack Twohey first opened on Arroyo Boulevard in Pasadena. The restaurant had 37 seats and Twohey’s Restaurant quickly became known for serving up the finest hamburgers, onion rings and hand-dipped fountain specialties in the San Gabriel Valley. Our present location featured memorable drive-up carhop service from the fifties through the mid-seventies. Our logo always inspires many a curious expression. The Little Stinko-O®, clothes pin and tears logo was trademarked by Jack Twohey in 1943. He overheard a woman exclaim “Oh Stink-O” when a gentleman seated next to her was served a hamburger generously garnished with onions and pickles. Twohey’s is proud to be a part of the memories that so many have experienced over the years. We hope you’ll continue to be a part of our tradition and we look forward to serving you, your friends and your families now and for generations to come!On behalf of our family and crew, we welcome you and hope to see you soon! |
